End of Life Services
First, please accept our condolences. We know how difficult this decision can be for you and your family. It is very common for families to need some measure of reassurance that they are making a good decision for their pet. Dr. Kendra always makes an effort to open a brief discussion at the beginning of any euthanasia appointment, if desired. However, if you would like a more in-depth conversation based on a review of your pet's case and a physical exam, then selecting a Quality of Life Consultation would be required. This is an opportunity to get all of your questions answered and discuss possible options moving forward. We do not offer any diagnostics or treatments.
In-Home Euthanasia appointments are for those who have decided that it is time to euthanize their pet. Our doctor will come to your home and help guide you through the process.
Quality of Life Consultations are for those who are unsure of what to do next, or who need additional reassurance as to if it is currently the right time to euthanize but would not be ready to possibly elect euthanasia that same day. The cost for this service is $175.
Quality of Life Consultations (with possible euthanasia) are for families that would like a professional opinion on their pet's case, but would like the possibility to elect euthanasia at the same visit, depending on the results of the consultation. This distinction is important for scheduling purposes on our end to ensure that no family feels rushed should they decide that delaying the procedure would be too difficult for them or their pet. The cost for this service is $175 + the cost of the euthanasia.
Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine
TCVM appointments are for those who are interested in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. This appointment type is for those who are interested in acupuncture, food therapy or Tui-Na (massage) for their pet. We currently have a waitlist for our TCVM services.
